Short-Term Rentals Feedback Survey

As part of the Zoning Bylaw update, the District of North Saanich is seeking feedback on short-term rentals. 

Temporary accommodations of fewer than 30 days are currently prohibited, although many operate locally. Recent provincial legislation (October 2023) introduced new regulations to address housing availability and enhanced regulatory and enforcement authority. 

The District is now considering whether to adjust its full prohibition on short-term rentals and what additional regulations may be appropriate.
